  1. Short:    Megaman, Mario, Bub, and DK Pointers.

  5. Requires: An AGA amiga because these are high-res pointers.

  7. KPointers (the 'K' is for Kewl) consists of a short script and 4 icons.
  8. The reason I made this is because all the pointers on Aminet, to date,
  9. are really ugly.  So I decided to draw some really good ones, I copied
  10. these sprites from my 8-bit Nintendo emulator, after realising how good
  11. some of the 3 colour NES sprites looked.  All these sprites are pixel
  12. perfect and the colours are all correct, except on Megaman and DK.
  13.  
  14. -  Megaman was drawn with 5 colours on the NES, I had to cut this down
  15.    to 3 colours so I removed the white from around the eyes and made
  16.    part of Megamans suit transparent, which looks especially cool if
  17.    you have a Copper running in the background I strongly recommend
  18.    COPPER-DEMON.lha by Valenta Ferenc (check it out).

  20. -  Donkey Kong is supposed to have black eyes instead of brown.
  21.  
  22. So just double click on the 'PointerPreview' icon and take a look at
  23. the pointers.  -now ain't that a nice touch-
  24.  
  25. If you don't know how to load and save a pointer image as your
  26. default then check the Workbench manual.
